It is delicious to be anonymous on a foreign city street.
I remember a story about a butterfly who comes and grants wishes to a little girl. I heard the story when my childhood was ending. There wasn’t anybody on the playground, they’d all mostly moved on. It was just the ghost (gypsy) girl and her slightly-cross eyed brother who always wore dirty Adidas tracksuits.
Kiev’s instrumental trio Kasaï has been around for a few years now, experimenting with a math rock/funk sound, though their EP appears to be tagged with terms like “live dnb” and “nu jazz.” Not surprisingly, their music is reminiscent of the likes of Liquid Break, Mamanet, to Juniper, but leaning towards laid-back jazz, so naturally, we are also reminded of DoK‘s last album. Very nice.
